The average person, for as little as ten dollars, can access all of the cases on the dauberttracker website, www.dauberttracker.com. $10.00 buys a half hour with the database, 25 dollars buys 2 hours. You can download a whole lot of data in a 2 hour session if you plan ahead. You don't have to read the cases during your time on line, just print them, download them to a pdf file, or save them some other way, and read them at your leisure. (The cases are not copyrighted.) It's an easy tool to use. Some organizations have arranged group discounts for their members. The American Academy of Forensic Sciences is one such group.

Any expert should check this site out at least annually--think of it as a "credit report." Believe it or not, there are experts who have been subject to a Daubert challenge and don't know it.

The database can be searched by expert names, expert discipline and party names. Each entry includes a cover page with the name of the experts and whether their testimony was admitted or excluded. Most cases include a brief summary and all include the full opinion. Motions, briefs and other pleadings are available for purchase.
