I agree just saying you followed the Scientific Method does not indicate the quality of the process. The same goes for a reasonable degree of scientific certainty. There is no way to say what is the quality of reasonable. What may be reasonable to you may not be to me. If that is the case, what is the purpose of the phrase. Now I am just addressing this one phrase.
I agree it is the details in how the scientific method is applied. Saying the phrase” Reasonable Degree of Scientific Certainty” does not support the quality in which the scientific method was applied. If one is trying to communicate the quality of the application of the scientific method one needs to have more than a trick phrase. If anything the phrase is misleading.
