Maybe I'm kicking a dead horse here but as I questioned one time before, "Why can't NAFI and IAAI create one agreed upon standard for the certification process?" Similar to what has been created in the EMS realm, the National Certification. Wouldn't that provide a "potential" for all to be on the same page? Both orgs are supposed to provide information to ALL Fire Investigators, but yet I see here and have in the past realized such a competitiveness between the two. Although competition, to some degree, assists in improving abilities, I don't see where the competition between NAFI and IAAI benefits anyone.
just my 2 cents and sorry for the grammar
