Chris,
While I do not dispute your experiences, there are exceptions such as the recent publication of the interview with the DC serial arsoninst Thomas Sweatt. It was first published bya DC based newspaper and reprinted in the Fire and Arson Investigator with permission.
I will have further discussions with Pam and others regarding your peer review recommendations.
The Fire and Arson Investigator magazine does have a lot of adds. It helps pay the cost of the publication and distribution of the magazine which in the end helps the member receive other services for their dues.
As far as not publishing an article that you have only self published on your website, maybe we can have discussions regarding that as well.
Thanks,
Bobby
