General Posting:
I have already discussed the concerns again yesterday with an Executive Board member from the IAAI and sincerely thanks the person for their time. In addition, it was very nice to hear that the board member at least in concept, agreed with most of concerns and suggestions (republications or important articles from other periodicals, making sure CFI Trainer questions are properly documented and answers are correct, Proper Peer-review of documents, etc) for resolution, and assured me that at least they would be discussed at the next board meeting. We will see what happens.
As with all my postings, I still strongly support the IAAI and have done so for decades. Just like several other trade organizations, the IAAI is an excellent organization that strives to promote excellence in the field and they should be commended and supported for doing so. There are things that could be done better and they at least have been addressed.
Mr. Sneed:
I take you at your word that you sent out an apology regarding your NHTSA posting, but it was never received by myself at any of my email addresses or via the Listserv. I do, however, accept your latest posting as such and thank you for it. You were removed from the listserv per a subsequent posting by Bruce York in 2006. I will be happy to try and locate a hardcopy if you wish, as I printed it out and kept a copy in the library here somewhere for just such an occasion. Perhaps Mr. York reinstated you after the fact, I have no knowledge of that, and haven't seen a single post from you since then on the site.
Mr. Sneed, I still do not recall at any conference nor meeting, as I have never attended an AGM or ATC by the IAAI. I also want to take responsibility for my posting and wish to offer my public apologies to you for them if I am in error.
Thank you to all, including Mr. Sneed, for your postings on the subject. I at least feel I unintentionally have detracted this far from the original posting content and will not be posting further on this.
Warmest Regards,
Chris Bloom
