The fact of charging the original investigator a fee because he followed the recommendations of 921 and let all the parties, having heat producing equipment in what he believed to be the area of origin, the chance to participate in the investigation sounds counter productive. Wonder if this same company will be the first to scream that the investigator failed to follow 921 if he does not notify them. Sounds like they want it both ways.

Chris, from what I was told it was a client of yours that has started this tactic, and he, the investigator, felt its main use was to intimidate the investigator to not identify them as a party with interest. Then they could start claiming that the investigator did not follow 921.
