Acceptable Level of Certainty

What would be an acceptable level of certainty for the determination of the cause of a fire? I am not talking about the classification but the cause. What would be your resoning for picking that level of certainty?

If one were to use the levels suggest in 921, it is necessary this opinion have the probability of being correct by only over 50%. In criminal cases, the level of certainty needs to be at a higher level, where in civil cases it may be different based on the case.

What would us, as a profession be willing to accept?
