Pat
I think you and me have agreed to disagree on this subject but lets lighten up some. You and the Dr. take things too serious. I was just making a wise crack to a person who does not feel he or she needs to identify themselves.
I believe you, the obsession you and others have about calling 921 a standard of care will never be changed in a chat room. There are strong opinions on both sides and I do not believe I am alone in my opinion. Until something happens one way or the other that is the way it will be. To suggest that the courts or the profession has made the discussion is in my belief a little premature, but who knows for sure.
As to NFPA I think your words my insuate to some that they have agreed officially it is a standard of care. I may differ based on the correspondence they produced over the last couple of years. But there again that is a personal opinion, and as we know everyone has one.
Pat, be truful, what precentage of fire investigators would vote in favior of NFPA 921 being the sole document to be used in judging the quality of their investigations.
Let me reassure you, I am not trying to change your opinion or any one else's opinion. I thought this is just a friendly exchange of ideas. The man keeps bringing it up as being a standard, not me.
Your friend
Jim
