We do get a chance to tell our side of the story. But frequently we only get to tell in to the client. If that side of the story does not support the position that the client does wants, we mostly do not get a chance to tell it in a deposition or courtroom.
Some investigators feel compelled to tell the client what they want to hear, dispite the truth. Therein lies the problem.
