So if am i hearing right in that the chapter 20 was removed because it was causing problems with the fire departments reporting systems? If so and that was the reasoning for it what about NFPA 921 being written for the fire investigation industry as a whole?. Is NFPA 921 not directed at both public and private sector. If it was removed for failure to be able to show intent shouldn't this be something a judge and jury decide and have always decided in the end? I agree there are times when you cannot show intent such as a stove fire but there are other times when you can such as a stove fire with all personal items in the home removed family photos, guns, underwear, pets etc. John do you know what the committees intent was? Was all 28 over reporting or intent issue.
