My question relates to an earlier post. Is the objection that the private sector was using the classification system fond in NFPA 921 to support their PR campaign? Do they need NFPA 921 to support how they make classifications? The statistical data used by the public sector comes from NFIRS or other such programs, so it does not effect them.
No one has showed me anything saying private or public fire investigators cannot make a classification.
