Dan, it depends on what you call forward. I remember hearing the saying; we are not retreating but advancing in a different direction. Here in Louisiana we say we are not going backwards but going forward in a different direction.
Some say why change the use of these classification, they have been around for years, this is the way it has always been done, and everyone understands their meaning and how they should be used. Da…. I can remember when fire investigation was alot simpler. Guess I gave my age away.
What about the system the Fire Administrative has developed? May not be perfect but it sure does better job explaining what took place.
