I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. To me factual information is information about a fact. If I tell you I observed a for sale sign in the yard, I am relating a fact information based on my observation. This information may not be a fact to you until you verify my information. No matter what, it is still a fact to me and the information I communicated to you is factual information based on my observation.
Factual is adjective for the subject information. I am giving you information and to communicate the type of information I use the adjective factual which means real, accurate, or actual.
