May I ask a question? I know your feelings as to the destruction of field notes, but in reviewing a number of case the court seem to disagree that this is significant factor as long as the information from those notes are available in another format. I understand that this question seems to be addressed mostly in criminal case, but based on your opinion why do you believe the courts are leaning the way they are in finding there is no problem with the destruction of these notes. You, Pat, Gerald, and John have brought up some good reasons, so I would think that someone has brought these same reasons before the courts.
