You are very strong with your point and I hope those viewing these post consider these points when making their decision as to how they will conduct there investigation. At this time, I still believe this is a personal decision that needs to be made by the individual.
If you and your group feel so strongly then I am sure there will be court challenges to this procedure. If your argument is as good to the court as it has been here I expect you have a good chance of making your point.
Most of the persons in jail seem to be there not because of original notes being destroyed but because of the lack of good legal defense. I do not care about the note issue, but if you do not have an attorney that knows fires or is being advised by a good expert, the absence of the notes will mean nothing. After the trial it is too late to get a good expert of lawyer, these needs to be done before and at the trial if there is to be a success in reducing the number of wrongful convictions.
