Jim, (my old and dear friend)
Anyone who destroys their original notes and any organization which requires that original notes should be destroyed is ill-advised, unwise, imprudent, and foolish, and may well find themselves defending their actions and “rolling the judicial dice” in the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota, Northwestern Division or some other trial or appeals court.
The simply is no good reason to destroy your notes – None, and there are plenty of good reasons to keep them. Unless you have somthing to hide.
This horse is long dead, please stop beating it.
